I have submitted a claim. What happens now?

Knowing what each claim status means will give you a better understanding of the progress of your claim.

We have passed along the first notice of loss and claim information to One80 Intermediaries, the managing general agent behind the insurance policy. They will be reaching out to you to handle the claim and go through the claims adjustment process. At any time, should you have any questions at all, you may contact their claims team at 800.882.5414. You may also email them at marineclaims@one80intermediaries.com

 

Below are the different status's that your claim can be in. Also note that you will be automatically updated every time your status changes.

 

New = we, vQuip, haven't worked the claim yet.


Work in progress = vQuip is working on gathering the material/documentation for the claim.


Sent to carrier = Our insurance partner has received the claim and they will begin processing as soon as possible.

 

Please understand that the overall timeline for each claim may differ depending on the volume of claims at the time. They tend to get processed within 3-4 weeks but reimbursements/payouts can take longer.
