We need to file an insurance claim, what are the steps?

Below are the steps to take when you have damage and need to file an insurance claim.

  1. Complete the ‘Reservation Review’ process with the Main Operator (if they are available).
  2. Take pictures or record a video of the entire incident/event as it’s unfolding in real time. The more the merrier when it comes to defending against a claim!
  3. Gather the following information to report to vQuip

    1. Reservation Name and Date

    2. Explanation of what happened

    3. Damage costs incurred (total amount)

      1. PDF/image of the repair/labor costs

    4. Did you charge the customer for the damages?

      1. Yes or no

    5. Description of the loss and any additional information

    6. Any additional photos/videos you may have

  4. Direct the customer or person who will be submitting the claim (whoever was charged) to vQuip’s website to fill out the form.

  5. vQuip will be notified of the claim

  6. The claim is then sent off to our 3rd party insurance partners who will then adjust the claim and provide updates on the status of all claims!

They will be reaching out to you to handle the claim and go through the claims adjustment process.
